We are are a small bakery near Kansas City, MO offering 100% vegan (meaning dairy, egg and animal product free) and gluten-free specialty desserts and baked goods. We do all of our baking in a rented commercial kitchen so we don't have our own retail facility that you can stop by just yet!
All ingredients are 100% organic unless otherwise noted, always cruelty-free, gluten-free, and all-natural, using only the best ingredients; no corn syrup, chemicals or otherwise yucky stuff! In addition to being gluten-free, most menu items can be specialized for allergies (corn-free, peanut-free, soy-free) upon request.
We also do Wedding Cakes and Cupcakes, Birthdays, and Special Orders!
This website uses Paypal for ordering, which accepts most credit cards or PayPal. WE CANNOT ACCEPT CHECKS. Please allow 2-4 days for shipping. We offer local pickup and delivery as well, limited area. MEET KATIE
We at Brody's Bakery value all animal life equally and choose not to eat or produce any products that contain eggs, dairy products or any other animal products. From our vegan sugar down to the sprinkles that we use, every product that we use is certified vegan. We also do not use any other products in our bakery that might contain animal products or might be tested on animals (soaps, cleaning products, etc).
"Although I was fortunate enough to be raised by vegetarian parents, it wasn't until my son Brody was diagnosed with classic autism at the age of 15 months old that I truly threw myself into learning about food and how it can effect our bodies and really our entire lives.
Eating a vegan diet has made astounding changes in the lives of my entire family, and when I started experimenting with vegan baking, I realized very quickly that I had found my passion!
Nothing makes me feel better than to be able to provide a delicious treat for a person who just didn't think they could eat that special treat anymore due to whatever dietary restriction that they may have. Another wonderful feeling is to be able to provide desserts that are 100% cruelty free and made from only the highest quality organic ingredients. "- Katie
